Living with Eddie hasn’t sucked at all cuz he’s a decent guy and it’s not his fault that I haven’t let him get close enough to me to be a “father figure” the way he wants. No blame on him at all like I said my fault all the way. Maybe I keep some space between us cuz I’m a true asshole at heart but Eddie’s no asshole. He’s like this cool uncle who gets me and it works for us, or for me at least. I feel guilty though cuz he won’t take a penny from me for room and board not a single penny and, sorry to say, he gets no “son” in me either.
